Brushbox’s beautiful coloring and fine grain are in high demand for elegant interiors. This coastal hardwood displays a color range from an unusual pinkish grey to warm reddish brown. Its excellent hardness and strength have allowed Brushbox to be specified for a wide range of commercial applications. Brushbox is used extensively for the interior of the Sydney Opera House.

Description: Timber color varies from soft pink grey to a rich reddish brown.

Origin: The central coast of New South Wales to Bowen, Queensland.

Hardness: Janka hardness is 2135. Red Oak is 1290.
