Thermal modification is a process that utilizes custom high temperature kilns to enhance wood flooring properties. It uses ultra high temperature and humidity to permanently change the molecular structure of the hardwood and creates an extremely stable, more durable, denser product while dramatically darkening the natural colour. No chemicals are required and only water and heat are used, a process that is extremely environmentally friendly .

Description: Timber is a rich chocolate to deep coffee brown

Origin: The coastal forests of New South Wales and Queensland.

Hardness: Janka hardness is 2135. Red Oak is 1290.
